Japan - Kanazawa

Off we go! to Kanazawa

A little stream flows all along the sidewalk throughout the main streets of Kanazawa City

looks bit too official for relatively small city

on that day,

market place

there we found a bunch of grilled Unagi which my sister ABSOLUTELY LOVES

beef croquet for myself :^D

a temple..?!

bus station in minami-cho

girls and boys with school uniforms, same shoes, same bags

we bought bags and bags at this traditional snack place

Sister's interesting comments after observing the behaviour of a grand mother who was sitting next to us:
There, few green leaves in that plastic bag, it seemed like her own little God-ish creature she adores.
she brought a tray with a cup of coffee and a bread. she opened up her purse, took out the plastic bag,
and placed it on the tray very carefully; looked at it for a while, closed her eyes, put her hands together,
said 'itadakimas' and started having her meal. Then she started reading a book, sipping coffee and
eating bread slowly. But every once in a while, she looked at the plant again and again
as if she was with somebody very important. Maybe it was her thing, her own god.

a friend, cilia from high school, used to call me 'Jelly Beans' all the time. I always wondered why, lol.

YES, Happy happy day to you, too!

Usually I don't like to go shopping. I mean, I don't go for a window shopping to be exact.
I get too sick after looking and walking around hours and hours inside of a mall with no air.

This is how I shop:
1. Figure out what to shop
2. What price range / what colour / most suitable brand
3. Where to get / where about 'this' be located in the specific brand shop
4. Go as planned
5. Try on (this step can be neglected as well)
6. Buy or not to buy if there's any. Then leave the mall immediately after.

In Kanazawa, because I was with my little sister a.k.a. "shopping-mon"
and because it was such a distant place from our hotel,
I had to gave her enough time for her to get everything she wanted, like, 3.5 hr. : (

After getting some items I wanted, I dropped by a book store where I often get lured by variety of books.
Since I don't know how to read Japanese, I walked around in Magazine alleys for most of the time.

Then in front of this huge section, I got totally WOWed.
The whole shelf was full of magazines, front-covered with Korean actors/actresses.
gee, that was a lot. I didn't know JANG KEUN SUK is such a star among Japanese.

JR ticket to go back

my favourite shops #1. niko and SHeLF
